We re-imagine home spaces in our post Covid world where home and office seem to have become forever entwined. Tactile Interiors believes in flexible spaces. Intentional furnishing allows you to work from a home office on Friday which morphs seamlessly into a guest bed for granny at the weekend and into a snug for the teenagers, come the new working week, with minimum fuss & effort.
Colour Consultancy
Possibly the most rewarding of assignments is consulting on the colour palette for a client’s home interior or exterior. At Tactile Interiors we love a colour palette composition. Producing a cohesive palette of colours and materials from which to furnish your home saves you time and money in the long run and keeps it simple. Individual personality is added to rooms using different accent colours, metals and woods.
Tactile Interiors develop colour / material boards which work with the space and the aspect of the home. These are then critiqued with the client. Imperative to have samples on site and colours in situ for the client to experience over couple of days to fully appreciate changing light conditions through the day.
Bespoke Windows
We readily accentuate eyelines and lashes in daily makeup routines. Well windows are the eyes of the home and at Tactile we like to accentuate the windows. We design the whole window area to find the perfect combination of style & practicality for each window. We work with the client to create what is for them the optimum mix of curtains and or blinds and shutters.
Whether its floor length, perfectly soldiered waves or voluptuous, billowing, lined and interlined drapes, which puddle on the floor, we celebrate and even salute the ‘contemporary curtain’.
We work closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure top quality products are bespoked to your window needs. From there, they are delivered and installed to the highest standard, in good time frames, usually within the month from ordering. We have worked on extensive projects with elaborate designs and solutions in some of the UK’s most luxurious homes where the highest standard of quality and finish is insisted upon. Some are featured in our projects section. Whatever your preferences Tactile can turn what can be an overwhelming selection process, into an interactive, multi-sensory, play session.
Blinds
Blinds are a hard working option in many homes. Whether simple roller blinds, motorized or not they’re neat, tidy and low maintenance. Some households prefer roman blinds which have the softness and finish of curtains without the volume. Sheers ensure day time privacy and there’s a perfect sheer fabric for everyone. Use them with a curtain in a reception room or bedroom or use them alone in a pool room or office.
Shutters
Shutters are a popular option in new homes giving privacy with control, the ease of a roller blind which looks great from the outside as well as the inside. They can work perfectly by themselves or be teamed with curtains and can be surprisingly cost effective when compared to curtain and blind prices.
Wooden blinds
Wooden blinds remain popular as they are a less effort, even more cost-effective solution than shutters but with similar features and benefits.
Home Staging
How desirable really is the residence you’re planning to market in the next few months? Tactile Interiors present your abode to its’ maximal appeal. We can prepare for the marketing photography by firstly dressing the residence appropriately or ‘staging’ the home to would be buyers or renters. A small investment in time and money will pay quick dividends. Create the perfect platform for a swift transaction of the desired value. Generate interest at the outset and attract the better applicants to site and keep them there. Don’t assume potential purchasers / tenants can see past any shortcomings it may have.
